Sustainable Marine Restoration
Bascoe Marine Limited commitment is to develop a sustainable 'Blue Economy' for Jamaica’s marine environment. Our mission centers around the responsibility to recover and process ocean-bound plastics within a 100 mile radius. With a focus to safeguard the Artisanal Fisheries, reduction of plastic waste will reduce the negative socio-ecological impact faced by fisherfolks.
Working in active collaboration with the National Fisheries Authority (NFA) (bottom right) and artisanal fishing communities we seek to transition Folks to Commercial Fishing. Our alignment with the PEOPLE is the key. With them in mind, "Small Actions" combined with "Lots of People" will have a "BIG IMPACT" to remove record breaking tones of OB Plastic from Jamaica's southern coastline. This systematic recovery of materials, turns environmental challenges into positive, sustainable livelihoods for those who rely on the sea.
Bascoe Marine Limited actively operates in strict adherence to environmental best practices, under the guidance of NEPA and Control Union. To align our operational roadmap with institutional mandates is showcased through our prioritization for restorating Jamaica’s coastal ecosystems and economic development.
Transparency with local governing bodies guarantees that every step of our growth contributes to a cleaner, more prosperous marine industry.
